Robert V Bethel, Sr

Hopkinton, NH Robert “Bob” V. Bethel Sr 77, passed away on Monday July 8, 2024 after a long illness. Bob was born September 1946 in Rockville Center NY To Vera (Wicks) Bethel and William Vincent Bethel. Bob was a 1965 Graduate of Farmingdale High School in Farmingdale NY. Following Graduation Bob became a US Navy Sea Bee (MCB58) where he served two tours in Vietnam. Bob was so proud to be a US Navy Sea Bee and loved to show that pride and talk with people anywhere he went about being a Sea Bee. Bob married the love of his Life Mary McGowan in 1967, they were married 57 years. Bob and Mary had 4 wonderful children, Mary, Kathryn, Robert Jr and Scott. Bob and Mary moved the family to NH a state that he loved where he owned and operated North Branch Refrigeration and was the Assistant Chief of the North Branch Fire Station. Bob loved the outdoors wild life and anything to do with nature, he passed his love of fishing down through the generations. Throughout his life he took many fishing trips to the woods...
