Richard Berger

Richard died tragically in a house fire in the family home that he loved so much. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Maureen Tempone Berger, his son Shawn, both from Deering, and his daughter Sarah, and her fiancé, Mike Chase both from Henniker, all from New Hampshire. He is also survived by many family members from Rochester, New York. Richard was in construction most of his adult life. He had a passion for restoration and custom cabinetry. He loved antiques, jewelry, and most of all restoring old automobiles. Richard and Maureen‘s favorite tradition, which they shared with their children, friends and cousin LeeAnn and Johnny was to go to Sampan with each of them wearing a funny hat. Richard‘s hat of choice was Jimmy Buffett’s parrot head.
