Raymond Stanley Daniels

Deering, NH At almost 92, Raymond Daniels passed away on February 11, 2025.--just 4 days after his wife, Kathleen. Ray and Kay had married on Valentine’s Day 1959, so they made it one week shy of 66 years. They were blessed with 3 children, David, Rob and Kathy. Ray was a hard worker all his life. He learned how to drive a truck early on. Ray served in the US Army Occupation Forces in Germany, 1952-1953. He couldn’t wait to return to his favorite place, Hillsborough NH, where he would serve as Town Road Agent. He then started Daniels Construction Company, and in the Winter he plowed snow for numerous businesses and individuals. The other 3 seasons during his 70 years in heavy construction, he did everything from foundation excavation, to adding stream fed ponds, and delivering crushed stone and gravel for people in the surrounding communities.
