Nicole Teresa Brown was born on May 30, 1968, in Fort Devens, Massachusetts, to Francis and Valerie Harmon. As the child of a military family, she moved often, living in Massachusetts, New York, and Maine before settling with her family in Bowdoin, Maine.
From an early age, Nicole was a dedicated dancer and pursued that passion throughout her childhood and teenage years. During high school, she developed an interest in computers, which led her to study computer science at the Florida Institute of Technology. After completing her studies, she became an independent software tester, a career she pursued until 2023.
That same year, Nicole returned to school to study pharmacology and became a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She then worked at Walgreens in Bedford, New Hampshire, where she formed many friendships and became part of the Walgreens family. She remained there until her untimely passing.
Outside of work, Nicole was an avid gamer and an active member of a large online gaming community. Through that community, she formed meaningful friendships with people who shared her interests. Those connections became an important and cherished part of her life.
Nicole also enjoyed cooking and baking and loved trying new recipes. At the time of her passing, she was writing a book, a project that reflected her imagination, dedication, and love of storytelling.
Nicole touched the lives of many people and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and online community.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Murphy’s Taproom Carriage House, 393 State Route 101, Bedford, New Hampshire. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nicole’s life.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Nicole’s honor to support the building of a trade school through Tree of Hope at treeofhope.org/give.
