Marsha Ann Gabisch

Peterborough, NH Marsha Ann (Chamberlain) Gabisch passed peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton. She was born June 26, 1950 in Peterborough, NH. She lived in NH until she was 14 years and family moved to Waltham, Mass. She was active in many sports and with the church fellowship while working part-time jobs. She graduated in 1970 and went to Keene State College, NH 1970-1975, where she got a BS in physical education. Marsha- Enlisted 1980-1985-US Navy-Seaman to petty officer, first class with top secret clearance. 1980-1982 Naval Data Automation Facility, Newport, RI - Responsible for operations of a Univac Data system. Teacher and leader of the Univac system. Awarded the “Navy Achievement Medal”. She then went to “A” school in San Diego 6/1980-8/1980. Data processing technician. 1982-1985 Pacific Fleet Data Processing Service Center Pearl Harbor, HI. She was responsible for running a Honeywell H6060 Computer System. Marsha married her husband George Gabisch navy enlisted and her son Jason was born while living in Hawaii. Marsha got out of the service and the family went to Rota, Spain. She also furthered her education with taking college courses with City of Chicago 1987. All the while traveling around Europe and Asia. Then they were off to Charleston S.C. Where they bought a house together in North Charleston, SC. In 1989. Her husband’s next port of call was Sigonella, Italy. Again travelling around overseas. Back to the States at Norfolk Virgina. Her husband retired but she was home sick for family and arrived back to NH in time for her son to finish high school in Peterborough, NH. Where she had started all those years ago. She was a bus driver in Hillsboro, NH from which she retired. Other towns she lived in while driving the bus was Greenfield and Concord, NH. She lived for a few years in Bedford at Bentley Commons and her last residence was NH Veterans Home in Tilton, NH. Son: Jason Aaron Gabisch- Oceanside, CA Parents: Elizabeth (Bettie) Mae Clark Malo(D) & Norman Paul Chamberlain(D) Brothers and sisters: Peter Clark Chamberlain (D), Alan Paul Chamberlain Concord, NH, Wendy Susan Dumont Derry, NH, Darlene Chamberlain, Boscawen, NH, Mark Alvin Malo, Burley, ID.
