Linda I Marchant

Linda Irene Marchant, 75, of Hillsboro passed peacefully at Pleasant View Center in Concord on Friday, March 16, 2026.

Linda was born in Littleton, NH on February 23, 1951 to the late Edward M. Murchie and Irene E. (Bellamy). She attended Henniker High School, graduating in 1969 and continued her education at Elliot School of Nursing obtaining her degree in 1972. After getting her degree in nursing she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Women's State Prison.

Linda cherished time with her family and friends. When she wasn't spending time with loved ones you could find her working on one of her many crafts, stamp booking or reading. She was also a practitioner of her faith.

Linda is survived by her son, Kirk Morrill and his wife Jesse of Contoocook, her stepchildren, James Marchant of Mount Pleasant MI, William Marchant III and his wife Melynda, Suzane Mccutcheon and her husband Jeff and Lisa Enman and husband Mathew of Rochester, NH. She is also survived by her brother Gates Murchie and his wife Candance of Annapolis, MD, her sister-in-law Kay Murchie, and her grandchildren, David Morrill and Jason Morrill of Contoocook. She is predeceased by her husband William Marchant, her parents Edward and Irene Murchie and her brother Kirk Murchie.
