Joyce Chagnon

Joyce Marie (Alix) Chagnon 1940 - 2024 Age 84 Henniker, New Hampshire Joyce Marie (Alix) (Henderson) Chagnon, of Henniker, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2024. She was born on June 2, 1940, in Meriden, Connecticut, to John and Mary (Despres) Alix. Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald L. Chagnon, Sr., who passed away on March 12, 1994. She is lovingly remembered by her three children: Tammy Fortier of Concord, Jill Henderson of Henniker, and John Henderson and his wife Althea of Franklin. Joyce’s legacy also includes eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Langlais of Henniker and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joyce dedicated much of her professional life to SAU 24 until her retirement in July 1999.
