John Voorhees

Antrim, NH John L. Voorhees, 80 of Antrim NH passed away at Concord Hospital on December 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Originally from Single house, PA, John moved to New Hampshire at the age of 17 to begin his career in well drilling a journey that lasted him 27 years. After retiring from well drilling, John worked as a cement truck driver for the Miche’ Corp out of Henniker. Getting closer to retirement John began a new career working at the ConVal school district. John touched the lives of many during his careers making many lifelong friends, retiring in 2006. John’s love of the outdoors continued into retirement with many days spent fishing with his bonus son William Patten in kayaks and on the ocean. John spent many summer days at Angus Lea golf course. John would often mention how he made many close friends with other golfers and the staff at Angus Lea, sharing many stories and laughing as well as how the staff would take care of him during his predicaments.
