Joan M. Pike

HOPKINTON, NH: Joan Marie Pike (Scibisz) of Hopkinton, passed away peacefully at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH, on January 4th, 2024. Joan, born March 11, 1938, and raised in Beverly, MA, was the beloved daughter of the late Wanda (Phillipov) and Michael Scibisz. She graduated from Beverly High School, North Shore Community College, and various Real Estate programs. Joan married Bernard “Barney” Pike, of Beverly, MA, on March 8, 1959, and had two sons, Steve and Brian, whom they raised in Ipswich, MA. Joan loved her career as a Real Estate Broker in Topsfield, MA, working at Worthen and Company. When Barney transferred to Hillsboro, NH, in 1982, she earned her NH Real Estate license and opened her own office, Town Crier Properties, in Contoocook, where she remained a Real Estate broker until 2015, working with many client’s multiple times.
