Frank P. Cate

HILLSBORO, NH: Frank Peter (Pete) Cate of Hillsboro, NH, peacefully passed away on December 5, 2023, after a brief stay at the hospice house in Concord, NH. Pete was a wonderful grandfather, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was dedicated to his hometown of Hillsboro, NH and spent his life in service. Born to Elmer and Theodora (Gagnon) Cate in Hillsboro, Pete attended the local one-room schoolhouse for primary school. He grew up with his hardworking parents and his three siblings, William, his twin sister, Floreida and sister, Rose. He eventually met a girl from Massachusetts, named Judy Ouellet, and they married on New Years Eve 1964. Their marriage lasted for 57 years until her passing last year. Together, they had two children, Jason and Patrick, and made a life in their Hillsboro Upper Village home, not far from Pete's childhood home.
