Doris C. Merrill

HILLSBORO, NH: Doris C. Merrill, 87, of Hillsboro, NH, formerly of Ashland, NH, Warner, NH, and many towns in Vermont, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Pheasant Wood Nursing Center in Peterborough, NH after a battle with cancer. Doris was born in Newbury Vermont on April 22, 1936, the daughter of Frank and Doris M. Cutter. Doris’s pride and joy and purpose in life was her family and most especially her grandchildren. She worked for a short time for Sylvania and New Hampton Boys School before retiring. She loved to listen to music, dance when she could, socialize and care for anyone that needed the help. Her infectious smile and good grace would never go unnoticed. Doris was predeceased by her parents, her brothers and sisters, Bobby, Frankie, Patty and Mary Drake, her beloved husband of 60 years, Richard F.
