Donald L Emery

Henniker, NH Donald Emery, of Henniker, NH 86 of Dummerston Vermont passed away peacefully with the support of his family after a brief illness on October 4, 2024. Don was an avid hunter and you could find him anywhere in the back roads looking for wildlife. He loved the outdoors whether it was picking flowers, weeds, acorns, or just walking around looking at nature. Don was a handyman of all trades and would help anyone in need. He passed along his love of the outdoors to his children and grandchildren, sharing his knowledge of hunting, tracking and navigation. Don was also the town comedian and unofficial mayor - he made his rounds to all the local businesses to visit most days, sharing a joke and sometimes a freshly picked bouquet of wildflowers. Most importantly he loved his family more than anything. Don was the most loving and devoted husband, father and Grandfather.
