Debra Ann (Lord) Connor
May 15, 1958 - April 17, 2026
Debra Ann (Lord) Connor, age 67, of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. at home. Debra was born and raised in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, and was in a long-time relationship with Bruce Anderson.
Debra was a loving mother to five children: Tina Sawtelle; Tammy and her husband Tom Snyder; Michelle Morris; Crystal and her husband Marc Condo; and Jeff Johnson. She was the cherished Meme of her "Wolfpack" grandchildren: Tiffany, Jacob, Jordan, Jeremy, Calvin, Jacquelyn, Cameron, Priscilla, Victoria, Anthony, Ariana, Kaden, Kailynn, Madelyn, and Paisley. She was also a great-grandmother to Jacobe, Julius, Alaiya, Averi, Adaline, Oliver, Slade, Calvin Jr., and Delilah.
She is survived by all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters Karen Roy and her husband Roger Roy, and Denise Hughson and her husband Steven Hughson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her Best Friend Peter Kron.
Debra was predeceased by her beloved parents, Ester Yvonne Saint Pierre and Robert Rosario Lord of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts; her older brother Robert Lord (known as Bobby); and her cherished godson, Steven Robert Hughson, with whom she shared a special connection.
Debra had the biggest heart and the kind of compassion you don't forget. She worked as a CNA, housekeeping, and laundry worker for many years at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, and also waitressed in her younger years.
She loved harder, laughed louder, and lived life fuller than most. She used to say, "No good deed goes unpunished," but she never let it stop her. Family came first in her life, and she had a gift for making everyone around her feel cared for.
Debra wished to be cremated. A Mass in her memory will be held June 13th at 4 pm at Saint Mary Magdalen Church .
Debra wanted to celebrate her life with her family before her passing-and she did. While she was on hospice, she had many special get-togethers, including tea parties, beach trips, girl makeover parties, holiday dinners, and even a cruise to the Bahamas. In true Debbie fashion, she lived well past what was expected-because no one tells Debbie what she's going to do. She was tired at the end, with her family at her bedside singing to her and praying with her.
She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.
