Deborah W Leavitt

October 19, 1950 — May 30, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Deborah (Wilkins) Leavitt, 74, of Francestown New Hampshire has been called to Heaven by our Lord on May 30, 2025. Deb was a loving, caring, ambitious, and spirited woman who passed surrounded by loved ones, just as she had lived- deeply connected to her family, and roots.

Deb was born on October 19, 1950 to Beverly (Scott) Wilkins and George Edward Wilkins II (Ted) in Arlington, Massachusetts, the eldest of 5 children.

Deb was a woman of great strength and great heart. Her laughter was infectious, her wit was unmatched, and her presence was a light in the lives of all who knew her. Whether offering a listening ear or sharing a hilarious story or standing firm in what she believed she did it all with grace and unmistakable spunk. Deb’s family was everything to her. She poured her heart into raising her children, supporting her grandchildren and nurturing a home filled with the lord's faith, warmth, wisdom, and a sense of belonging. Her heart and door were always open to those she loved. Deb enjoyed traveling all across the country whether it be a long road trip or a family camping adventure. She had a way of finding the beauty in the world around her and inspiring others to do the same. She lived her life with resilience and determination all the while always having a bright outlook and twinkle in her eye. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled however her memory lives on in every person whose lives she touched. With every story told around the table, every pleasant breeze on a beautiful day and every moment shared amongst those that she loved so deeply.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Brian S Leavitt of Francestown NH, her four children, Andrew Bauer and his wife Dawn of Alexandria NH, Julie Currier of Alexandria NH, B. Scott Leavitt II and his wife Lindsey of Antrim NH, and Stephen Leavitt and his wife Desiree of Francestown, NH. She is also survived by her three brothers, one sister, thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
