Bette Norma Sargent

Hillsboro, NH Bette was born on February 2, 1946 in Concord, NH to Norman and June Campbell of Hillsborough, NH. She passed peacefully with her loving husband by her side on April 8, 2024 in Port Charlotte FL. She married John W. Sargent on November 15, 1969 and they remained inseparable for their 54 years of marriage. Bette started her nursing professional life at MCH and finished as a Dialysis Nurse for Fresenius Medical retiring in 2007. After nursing she became a substitute teacher in Henniker and Hillsborough, NH. As a long-time summer resident on Long Island, Maine she ensured that the house was always ready for her family and friends. Bette loved to travel, spending time in Greece, Mexico, Ireland as well as a host of other places. Always having a great time, she loved to share the adventures with family and friends especially when in Fabulous Las Vegas and especially meeting Wayne Newton “Mr. Las Vegas” on one trip.
