Barry Whittemore Sr., born May 7th, 1951, in Peterborough, NH to George (Chub) and Phebe Whittemore, left us on May 13th, 2025, to be reunited with family and many friends.
He attended Hillsborough and Antrim High School. He proudly joined the Armed Services in January 1971. After fulfilling his patriotic duty, he raised a loving family.
He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Sfa Whittemore (Foote), and his sons and their families, Barry Whittemore Jr. (Heidi) and Matthew (Michelle) of Antrim and his grandchildren Kyle, Matthew, and Loretta and many other relatives. He loved hunting, fishing, and the fur shed. He had lots of great stories to tell. If you knew him, I’m sure you are smiling about one right now…
Please join us to celebrate the life of Barry Whittemore Sr. Saturday, May 24, 2025 for a graveside service at 11:00am in Evergreen Cemetery on Old Stagecoach Road in Bennington, NH. A celebration of life will follow from 12:00pm-4:00pm at the American Legion Post 59 Pavillion located at 538 W Main St, Hillsborough, NH.
Services are under the care of Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home. www.holtwoodburyfh.com .
