Anne M. King

HILLSBORO, NH: Anne M. King, 76, of Hillsborough, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, N H. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Frances Lawless of Middletown, NJ. Anne was born on August, 9, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ and spent her childhood in NJ. She especially loved going to the Jersey Shore every summer with her family. She moved to NH in 1974, a few years after getting married. Anne volunteered for just about anything in town and was on multiple committees at any given time. You would see her at almost any event in town. She would be in the ticket booth or at a table for the Balloon Fest (now Summer Fest), helping with Schnitzel Fest, the Lions Club and Hillsboro Pride. She served as President of HYAA, and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. She always said yes and was happy to lend a helping hand.
