Summerfield, Fla. It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Andre P. Beausoleil, 82 of Summerfield, Fl. on August 27, 2024. Andre was born in Manchester, NH on August 6, 1942. He was the son of Antonio J. Beausoleil and Jeannette Marie (Martineau) Beausoleil. Andre was pre-deceased by his brothers Gerald and Robert Beausoleil. He is survived by his two sisters, Rita Lineberry, Laurie Fraser, sister in law Claire Beausoleil and several nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his first wife Diane (Dallaire) Beausoleil who passed in 1976 as a result of complications from a minor surgery. He will be dearly missed by his wife Kathryn of 47 years and his three boys, Michael Andre Beausoleil of Bennington NH, his wife Sophie; Keith Andre Beausoleil of Manchester, NH, his wife Michelle; Sean Andre Beausoleil of Essex, Ma and his wife Amanda; and his sister-in-law Nancy (Dallaire) Laudenslager. Andy will also be very missed by his grandchildren, Mathieu, Mason, Ethan, Simone, Caleb, Joel and Bridget. Time spent with his children and grandchildren was his most cherished activity and he delighted in seeing them and making them laugh. More than anything, his greatest satisfaction in life was to see his family thriving and happy. Andy was a member of NH Army National Guard from 1964 – 1969 and honorably discharged as Sergeant, Headquarters Battery 12t Battalion 172nd Artillery. Over the course of his life he enjoyed being as active as possible playing hockey, hunting, motorcycling, snowmobiling, skiing, boating, golfing and fishing with family and friends, as well growing abundant vegetable gardens and flower beds. He was also an accomplished do-it-yourselfer able to take on virtually any task. After 47 years of barbering and serving the greater Manchester, NH community at Andy’s Barber Shop, Andy and his wife Kathy retired to Summerfield, Fl where they spent winters golfing and playing softball. He was a coach for several years at Spruce Creek South Sun N Fun senior softball league where he enjoyed his teammates tremendously. He also enjoyed golfing on Wednesday’s in Summerfield at the local golf club as well as on Sundays in a couples’ league. Summers were spent in NH where Andy and Kathy lived in a campground in Freedom, NH and most recently in Kingston, NH. The grandchildren would visit to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and the fire-pit. Friday evenings were enjoyed with brother-in-law Ralph and sister in law Norma hosting dinners as well as fellow friends at the campground. Kathy and Andy enjoyed many years of golf outings throughout NH with his brother in law Wayne, whom Andy felt was his “little brother,” as well as with his brother-in-law Ralph. Andre's life was characterized by his love for family, his active lifestyle, and his engagement with his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the many lives he touched. Andy will be Laid to rest at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery.
