Shirely Mae Curtis

Henniker, NH Shirley Mae (Melendy) Curtis, 73 of Henniker, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born in Lebanon, NH on January 30, 1951 to Raymond Melendy and Etta (Pike) Stone. Shirley was a devout member of the Methodist Church in Hillsboro and enjoyed hosting Tuesday Bible Study in her home. She was an avid crocheter, providing 100's of blankets for anyone in need, whether it was a newborn, the sick, the elderly or anyone who needed the comfort from their warmth. She found daily joy in her gardens, baking, canning and her many books. Everything was shared unselfishly. Her special talent was finding the “perfect” gift, trinket, or card for the many people she loved in her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Joseph Curtis Jr., sons Roland Genest of Henniker and Russell Genest of NJ.
