She was residing at the Harris Hill Center in Concord, NH where she passed on February 17, 2020 surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Richard A. Stevens, who passed away November 6, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Alton Winthrop and Florence Harriet Crowell.
After graduating from Lowell High School, she went to work in the clothing mills in Lowell, MA as an inspector. Prior to her retirement, she worked at the original Bank of New Hampshire. She was also employed by the Hudson School System.
She was a longtime member of Pilgrim Chapter Order of Eastern Star in Nashua, NH.
She is survived by her only child, Eleanor S. Emmett Grande and her husband Raymond of Henniker, NH, six grandchildren, Steven and Holly Emmett of Hudson, NH, Alison and Brian Lyne of Clayton, NC, Beth Spagnoli of Chester, VA, Heather and Doug Mason of Peru, NY, Nathan Emmett and Nikki Sell of Ocoee, FL, Joseph and Melissa Grande of Henniker, NH, two step-grandchildren, Gina Martin of Plainville, MA and Janna Bastone of New York City, NY, 20 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kaden, Aubrey, Madison, Taylor, Kendall, Reese, Abigail, Chase, Derek, Brayden, Madden, Khailani, Nickolas, Amanda, Victoria, Zander, Evan, Adam and Chase and four great-great-grandchildren, Harper, Ryatt, Radley, & Emmett.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 2, 2020 at 10 am in the Henniker Congregational Church in Henniker, NH.
Internment will follow at 1 pm in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen NH.
The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Henniker is assisting the family.
