He was born December 14, 1931 in Webster, NH the son of the late Duncan and Bertha (Hardy) Shepard. He was also predeceased by his wife Judith E (Putnam) Shepard.

Arthur worked on airplane’s at Hitchner’s Manufacturer in Milford , NH.

Survived by his mother and father-in-law Mr. & Mrs. William Lyons of Bow, NH; brother and sister-in-laws Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Putnam of Greenfield, NH; Mr. & Mrs. Wayne Cote of Goffstown, NH;  Mr. & Mrs. Steven Lawrence of Hillsboro, NH and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held in spring in Pine Grove Cemetery, in Weare, NH.
