William Henry Hawkins
1937-2012

Bradford, NH William Henry Hawkins, 74, of Bradford NH passed away January 31, 2012 after a brief stay at Concord Hospital, Concord NH. “Bill” was born in Wilkes county NC February 8, 1937 to the late Wiley Milton Hawkins and May Bishop Hawkins. He is pre-deceased by his wife of 30 years MaryEllen Pierson Hawkins. Bill served as an Airman Third Class in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged June 9th 1955. He drove tractor trailers for the majority of his professional career, and retired from a NH Motor Freight company . He was devoted to his late wife, family, and his faithful four legged friends. Bill was a kindhearted person who was always willing to help whether it was moving a camper, providing support and love, or just making a donation to someone else in need. He is survived by his niece Eloise Everhart of NC; 1 step-daughters: Dawn Whitman of SC; Heather Hock, son-in-law James Hock & a grandson Damien Hock of NH. There will be a service held at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 32 School St. Hillsboro NH Friday February 3, 2012 at 6pm with Pastor Samual Coberly, of the lake Sunapee Baptist Church, where Bill had been a member.
