Steven M. Marcouillier, 55, known as ‘Raven’ among the Wampanoag Circle, passed away August 6, 2011 in his home in Hillsboro, NH surrounded by his Wampanoag Circle friends.

He was born in Lowell, MA, the son of Annie Marcotte and the late Joseph A. Marcouillier.

He was generous and considerate to his companion of almost 4 years, Shari Wesley, with whom he had an Indian Bonding Ceremony.

He is survived by his 3 Children, 8 Grandchildren, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister:  Jennifer L. DesJardins of Oceanside, CA, Steven M. Marcouillier of Lowell, MA, and Cheryl L. Wallace of Lowell, MA; Ron Marcouillier of NH, Ed Marcouillier of  MA, Warren Marcouillier of MA and Brenda Harris of Ohio.  He was pre-deceased by his sister, Patricia Vela.

A ceremony will be schedule at the Menoken Indian Sweat Lodge at a later date.

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Hillsboro, NH is assisting the family.
