Evelyn G. (Davis) Kemp, 103 of Hillsboro, NH died Saturday March 12, 2011 at the Hillsboro House Nursing Home. 

Born February 15, 1908 in Somerville, Ma, the daughter of Guy C & Emma (Farnell) Davis.  She was predeceased by her husband Samuel C Kemp, and her 2 sons, John N. Kemp and Richard A. Kemp.

Survived by her two half brothers, Richard W. Davis or Carver, Ma, John C. Davis of New Braintree, Ma and one Half sister, Carol A. Black of Oakham, Ma. Nieces Mary Jane (Kemp Bumap of Leominster Ma, Myra (Kemp) Welch of Walpole and Nephew Ralph Kemp, Jr., Barbara Reddy and Marilyn Taylor of Isle of Palms SC, Great niece Donna Severance of Lunenburg Ma and a great nephew Gary Kemp of Leominster Ma.  

She was a long standing member of the Order of the Eastern Star..

She was well known for the many years she worked at Gerini’s store in Hillsboro.  She was a great historian and would put smiles on everyone's face, as she would tell the stories of the golden days of Hillsboro.

Gardening and her cats brought her great joy.

Calling hours will be held Friday, March 18^th from 4-6pm in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 32 School Street Hillsboro, NH. 

Services will be held Saturday March 19, 2011at 10:00 am in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The Reverend Cynthia Nickerson will officiate. 

A burial will be planned later in the spring.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the NHSPCA, P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
