Ruth E. Jones, 99 of Hillsborough died September 27, 2011 at Hillsborough House Nursing Home. 

She was born December 25, 1911 in Concord, New Hampshire.  Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Barnard Jones, two daughters, Marjorie Robichaud and Barbara Murdough and a grandson, Robert  Simard.  

Ruth worked at New Hampshire Ball Bearing for several years.  She was town clerk and tax collector in Freedom, New Hampshire From 1972-1985.

 Survived by five children, Floyd Jones and Patricia Dahlstrom of Hillsborough, Mike Jones and Nancy Kelley of Deering and Virginia Callahan of Rhode Island.  She is also survived by several nephews and nieces and Nephews hundred plus grandchildren, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.

 Ruth was a member of the Portia-Henacon- Asteria Chapter # 14 Eastern Star and the United Methodist Church, Hillsboro, NH and Freedom Christian Church. 

 There are no calling hours.

 The funeral will be at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 30, 2011.

 Burial will be at Maple Ave Cemetery in Hillsborough immediately following the service.

 In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made in her name to the Hillsborough Rescue Squad P.O. Box 350 Hillsboro, NH 03244.
