Frances M (Morrill) Hunt
1927-2011
|
Webster, NH Born January 6, 1927 in Manchester NH to Lewis and Yevette Morrill and passed away peacefully at home in Webster NH on June 29, 2011. Wife of the late Homer F. Hunt Sr., deceased in 1989. She leaves her daughter, Marsha E. Labrecque and her husband Paul Labrecque from Webster NH, her son Homer (Sonny) F. Hunt Jr. and his wife Frances Hunt from Concord NH, three grand children, Brian S Peno and his wife Jennifer from Cocoa Beach FL, Jennifer L. Courtney and her husband Brendan from Pittsburgh PA, Amy Hunt from Providence RI, three great grand children, Zerren & Ashley Courtney and Kyra Peno. Frances Hunt, known to some people as “Little Franny Hunt” and loved country & western music and played guitar and bass. Fran had her own country band known as “The Three Kings and a Queen” and found time to record a record. She performed and entertained many people in the New England states combining her talent with several groups at clubs, fairs, town events, camp grounds and parades and private functions but most of all she will long be remembered for her yodeling ability. Even though her height of 4’10” tall might have been a problem to some, it was not in any way a measurement to the size of her heart. The doors were always open to anyone in need at any time of day whether it be a hand out, a meal, a caring ear or just a friendly talk and possibly just in need of a ride. She will be missed by all that knew this giant lady. A private grave side service was held on July 9th 2011 at Beaver Dam Cemetery on Long St. in Webster. I lieu of flowers donations may be sent to TLC Day Care, 211 Loudon Road, Courtyard Square, Concord NH 03301 Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org/manh or to a charity of your choice.
