Nancy Antoinette Bergendahl, 70, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home on August 16th.

Nancy was the daughter of the late Edwin and Helen Wozniak of Chelsea, Mass. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Bergendahl.

She is survived by her son Peter J. Bergendahl and his wife, Genevieve; her grandson, Miles; her dog, Dawson, and her grand-dog, Roxy.

She was well-known in the antique world as a fine collector and highly-regarded seller. Over the years, she collected and sold items ranging from furniture to gumball machines, ultimately specializing in dog antiques. She has a great number of friends around the world who will miss her sense of humor and honesty. Her legacy, values, and memories will be carried on by her family and friends. We are all comforted that she has been reunited with her soul mate and husband, Peter.

A private family ceremony will be held in Henniker.

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
