Blanche S (Cripps) Sawyer, 92 of Bennington, NH, died Saturday August 28, 2010 at the Pheasantwood Nursing Home in Peterborough, NH.

She was born May 26, 1918 in Hyde Park, Mass, before moving to Bennington, Nh in 1946. She was the daughter of the late John and Pauline Cripps. Also predeceased by her husband Edwin F Sawyer who died in November 1978.

Blanche worked for NHBB in Peterborough, NH for 22 years from 1969-1991, the later worked at Home Health Care in Keene, NH for 5 years before her retirement in 1996.

She attended school in Natick, Mass where she graduated in 1936, and was a long time member of St. Patrick’s Church in Bennington, NH.

Survived by 1 Son, John L MacNutt Jr, of Bennington, NH, 3 Daughters, Pauline Grass, of Fergenson, Missouri, Leslie Brons, of Brooksville, Florida, Maryann Morris, of Plymouth, Mass, 2 Sisters, Jennie Stewart, of Bromfield, Pa, Geneva DelIsola, of Medford, Mass, 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday September 2, 2010 at 12.30PM in Divine Mercy Parish Church in Bennington, NH. The Rev Gerald R Belanger will officiate.           

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Bennington, NH.
