Mikko J Peuraharju, 72, of Deering, NH died Friday December 24, 2010 at Concord Hospital after battling cancer with courage and dignity.

Born April 11, 1938 in Kokkola, Finland, the son of the late Leevi and Irja (Luoto) Peuraharju, also a brother, Matti Peuraharju.

Mikko was carpenter for many years before his retirement.

Survived by his wife of 21 years Dorothy Ann (Smart) Peuraharju, of Deering, NH, 1 Step Son, Philip Wilson, of Scottsville, NY, 2 Daughters, Nancy Peuraharju, of Muurame, Finland, Liisa Peuraharju, of Jyvaskyla, Finland, 2 Step Daughters, Caroline King, of Strafford, NH, Kathleen Wilkes, of Willow Creek, Ca, 1 Brother, Marku Peuraharju, of Eskilstuna, Sweden, 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.

Services and Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in spring.
