Frances M (Hopkins) Landry, 87, died November 21, 2010 at the Concord Hospice House surrounded by her family. Prior to this she was a resident at the N.H. Veterans Home in Tilton, NH.

She was born June 30, 1923, in Whitefield, NH to the late John F. and Jessie M. (Tann) Hopkins. She was raised in Laconia, NH and graduated from Laconia High School. She attended Mount Saint Mary College in Hooksett, NH. Frances joined the US Navy in February 1944 and was stationed in Washington, DC.

Frances was married to the late Joseph A. Landry who died in 1986 and resided in Concord, NH most of her life and that is where she raised her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Concord, NH. She really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; one of her favorite hobbies was fishing, and she spent many years volunteering in the Concord, NH area community.

Survived by her 9 Children, David Landry, of Franklin, NH, John Landry, of Cape Coral, Florida, Mary Fitzemeyer, of Belchertown, Ma, Joseph Landry, of Salisbury, NH, Thomas Landry, of Manchester, NH, Timothy Landry of Loudon, NH, James Landry, of Concord, NH, Frank Landry, of Randolph, Vt, Anne Holton, of Alexandria, NH, 1 Sister, Mary Hopkins, of Penacook, NH, 23 grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Lawrence Hopkins, of Carlsbad, Ca.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday November 23, 2010 at 10.30 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish 180 Loudon Rd, Concord, NH.

Burial will follow in Blossom Hill Cemetery In Concord, NH.

In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made in her name to the Carmelite Monastery 279 Pleasant St, Concord, NH 03301 or the Concord Hospice House 30 Pillsbury St, Concord, NH 03301.
