Frederick Otto Davideit, 80 of Hillsboro, NH died Tuesday July 13, 2010 at his home.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, January 23, 1930, Frederick was the son of the late Curtis J. & Margaret Ethel (Johnson) Davideit. Also predeceased by his wife who died 2 months ago Ida (Radcliffe) Davideit, & 2 Sons, Steven R Davideit & Gary J Davideit. 

Frederick moved to Hillsboro, NH 19 years ago from Ludington, Michigan. Frederick was a self employed Real Estate Broker for many years. Also he spent over 30 years in the law enforcement including being chief of police in Candia, NH, and deputy in the Greenfield, NH, Police Dept. He was a veteran of the US Army from 1947-1951.

He was a member of the American Legion Post # 59 Hillsboro, NH.

Survived by 1 Son, Bruce F Davideit, of Onekama, Michigan, 2 Daughters, Paula S Davideit Schwartz, of Monticello, MN, Janice L St. Amand, of Meredith, NH, 14 grandchildren, & 15 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 from 11am to 12 Noon with a memorial service at 12 Noon in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 32 School St Hillsboro, NH. The Rev Andrew MacLeod will officiate.
