Albert J Cote, born August 29, 1927 in Westville, NH died at Monadnock Community Hospital on September 17, 2010. He was the son of Joseph Cote and Marie (Trombley) Cote both from Westville, NH. His deceased brothers were Leo and John Cote and his deceased sister Marie St. Onge. His wife, Patricia M. Cote recently died 6 months ago.

He is survived by his two daughters: Kathie Brennan from Antrim, NH and Susan Cote McKinnon from Henniker, his grandchildren: Rose McKinnon, Dean Crawford, Justin McKinnon, Colleen McKinnon, Zach McKinnon and Abe McKinnon, and great-grand daughter: Meran McKinnon.

Albert served his country in the US Navy for 4 years. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing on his cabin cruiser, hunting, had a passion for the accordion and piano. In his younger years, Al participated in a men’s softball league. Al loved gardening and maintaining his pool. He was employed at Western Electric in Andover, Mass for 41 years and retired to Hillsborough, NH to be close to his grand children. Al was an active member in Alcoholics’ Anonymous and was very proud to receive his 20,year medallion. In his last four years, he has resided at Pheasant Wood Care & Rehabilitation Center in Peterborough, NH where he had several friends and was well loved by many.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 27, 2010 at 10 am in St Theresa’s Church in Henniker, NH.

Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery in Westville, NH
