Jeffery A Brooks, 61 of Greenfield, NH died Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

He was born in Springfield, Vermont, before moving to Greenfield 60 years ago. He was the son of the late Paul F and Wyona (Weeden) Brooks, and was predeceased by a brother, Monte Brooks.

Jeffrey also served in the Army and was Veteran of the Vietnam war.

Jeffrey graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield Ct.  He also worked for Keene State College in the Food Court for over 15 years before his retirement in 2007.

Jeffrey was a member of the NH Giant Pumpkin Growers Association where he was a Renowned Great Giant Pumpkin Grower.

Survived by his wife, Mary S (Meyers) Brooks, of Greenfield, NH, 2 Brothers, Harlan & Sharon Brooks, of Va., Tim & Tracy Brooks, of N.C., 3 Sisters, Lorraine & Ed Lanigan, Maine, Carolyn & Tim Fortson, & Diana Smith both of, Alabama, also many nieces & Nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11 am in Greenvale Cemetery, Greenfield, NH.
