Caroline Ann (Durgin) Arney, 74, of Warner, NH, where she lived for the past 20 years, formally of Henniker, NH, died Tuesday August 24, 2010 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Ma.

She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Leah (Gardner) Durgin, also predeceased by her husband Kenneth H Arney, who died in 1974, and a brother Lloyd Durgin who died in 1995.

She worked at Pine Rock Manor in Warner, NH as a Personal Care Attendant for over 25 years.

Caroline loved the outdoors, doing puzzles in the winter, and watching birds especially woodpeckers, and working in her garden. She also loved spending time with her Grand Daughter and 2 Great Grandson’s, and all the family gatherings.

Survived by 1 Son, Bruce A Arney, of Warner, NH, 1 Daughter, Mary A Heath, of Concord, NH, 1 Granddaughter,  Nadine Heath, 2 Great Grandson’s Troy and Mason Zanis.

Calling hours will be held Thursday August 26, 2010 from 6-8 pm in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Henniker, NH.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 27, 2010 at 10 am in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Henniker, NH. The Rev Richard Boynton will officiate.

Burial will follow in Plummer Cemetery, Henniker, NH.
