Carolyn B. (Kenny) Kansky, 79, died at home on April 29, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.  

She was born in Westfield, N.J. on July 2, 1930 to William B. and Esther (Andersen) Kenny.  She graduated from Westfield High School in 1948.  She and her husband, Carl, moved to N.H. in 1975.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Carolyn was a community volunteer, a caring neighbor, a talented self-taught artist and knitter, and a lover of the outdoors who enjoyed kayaking and camping with her family.

Carolyn leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years, Carl, and two daughters, Sharon and husband Tom Dowling of Hancock, N.H. and Barbara Dastgheib of Waltham, Mass.  She also leaves four grandchildren, Reza Dastgheib, Timothy Dowling, Hadi Dastgheib and Katherine Dowling.

She was predeceased by her son, Richard Kansky.

      There will be no calling hours.

      A memorial service will be held at a future date.

      In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Bedford, NH 03110 or to the charity of one’s choice.
