Jeffrey L. Dietz, 50 of Deering, NH died Wednesday February 17, 2010 at the Concord Hospital.

Born July 25, 1959 in St. Mary’s Pa, before moving to Deering, NH 20 years ago. Jeffrey was the son of Edward J & Joyce (Nelson) Dietz. 

Jeff was a graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School class of 1979. He worked for GTE Sylvania in Hillsboro, NH for 31 years. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmobiling, & Geo caching, & being outdoors with friends. Most of all he enjoyed helping people.

Jeffrey was a Police Officer in Hillsboro, NH, a volunteer Fire Fighter in Deering, NH. He was a member of American legion Post 59 Hillsboro, NH, Loyal Order of Moose Post 1031 Hillsboro, NH, Deering Fish & Game Club for over 30 years, and was treasure for many years.

Survived by his wife of 29 years Marilyn Ann (Misso) Dietz, of Deering, NH, His father & Step, mother Edward J and Lana (Fulger) Dietz, of Couders Port, Pa, 2 Sisters, Lisa J Scott, of Rhode Island, Leslie Hackmann, of Andover, NH, Several Nieces & Nephews.

Calling hrs will be held Saturday February 20,2010 from 4-6 pm in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Hillsboro, NH.

Private services and burial will be held in the spring.
