Ulla F. (Ellsworth) Fisher, 88 of Easton, Mass, formerly of Hillsboro, NH, died unexpectedly Saturday morning March 7, 2009  at home.

She was born in Hillsboro, NH, on July 2, 1920 a daughter of the late James L. and Nellie E. (Whitcomb) Ellsworth, also predeceased by her husband Lawrence Fisher, and 1 brother, and 2 Sisters.

She was raised in Hillsboro and was a graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School.

She worked in the Woolen Mills early in life and later she owned and operated with her husband the Pine Ridge Florist Nursery in Hillsboro, which sold plants, flowers and vegetables.

Ulla was one of the first inductees into the Hillsboro High School Basketball Hall of fame. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed knitting and walking. She was a lifelong resident of Hillsboro before moving to Easton Mass in July 2007.

Survived by 1 Son, James Fisher and his wife Ann of Easton, Mass, 1 Daughter, Lannis Willems and her husband Marcial of Georgia, 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday March 11, 2009 from 6-8 PM in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 32 School St Hillsboro, NH.

Funeral services will be held Thursday March 12, 2009 at 10 AM in the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in spring in Appleton Cemetery, Deering, NH.
