Neil Thomas Cayer, 74 of Contoocook, NH, died November 8, 2009 at the Concord, Hospital.

Born in West Hopkinton, NH the son of the late Horace & Arlene (Miller) Cayer. Also predeceased by a son Dana Cayer.

Neil worked as a Boiler Maker & Welder for many years, and also Owner & Operated Neil Cayer Enterprise.

Neil loved the outdoors, Fishing, Hunting, and camping in the White Mountains, loved to read books, play cribbage. And also was a Veteran of the National Guard.

Survived by his wife of 36 years, Doris M (Shatney) Cayer, of Contoocook, NH, 6 Sons, Larry D Cayer, of Hawaii, Thomas N Cayer, of Sanbornton, NH, Bradley A Cayer, of Concord, NH, Brett V Cayer, of Newington, CT, Neil T Cayer II, of Webster, NH, Kent Barton, of Contoocook, NH, 2 Daughters, Valorie J Dyer, of Henniker, NH, Crystal Anderson, of Concord, NH, 2 Brothers, Bruce H Cayer, of Contoocook, NH, Jerry Cayer, of Belmont, NH, 15 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews.

 Calling Hours will be held Wednesday November 11, 2009 from 6-8 PM in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 19 Hall Ave Henniker, NH.

Graveside service will be held Thursday November 12, 2009 at 11 Am in Contoocook, Village Cemetery, Contoocook, NH.
