Ann. C (Bortolin) Austin, 93 of Warner NH, passed away in her sleep Monday August 31, 2009.

Ann was born in Boston, MA and lived in Arlington MA most of her life.  She was educated at the Museum of Fine Arts School, in Boston MA and has many awards for her paintings, including several from the ASWC in Washington DC.

She was married for 48 years to Leo H Austin who predeceased her in 1986.

She has three children: Barbara A White, Las Vegas NV, Jacqueline V and Thomas Pehrson, Bradford NH and Terrance M Austin, Gilbert, AZ.  Her grandchildren are Daniel and Cheryl Patriquin, Broken Arrow, OK,  Christopher and Judy Patriquin, Manchester, NH,  Kevan and Rhonda Patriquin, Portland, ME, Erin and Steve Garcia, Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Pehrson (deceased), Tina and Andrew Levell, Hillsboro, NH,  Gillian and Joab Mallo, Colorado Springs CO, Theo, Brittany and Eric Austin, Gilbert, AZ.  Her much loved great grandchildren are Christina, Brian, Laura, Kayla, Phillip, Sarah, Rachael Patriquin, and Tristan Garcia.  Also she leaves her many dear friends including Elinor Harris and Eileen White.

Ann was a remarkable lady who touched many with her kindness and indomitable spirit.  She was a member for many years of the Warner Woman's Club and The Warner Historical Society.  Throughout her life, she worked tirelessly as a volunteer.

A viewing and gathering of family and friends will be held Monday September 7th from 4-8pm at the Hold Woodbury Funeral Home, 19 Hall Avenue, Henniker, NH.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresas Catholic Church, Henniker, NH on Tuesday 10:30am. burial to follow.
