Dorothy Elizabeth Cook, 79, died Sunday January 17, 2010 peacefully after a long, term illness, in Keene, NH.

Born in Antrim, NH she was the daughter of Nelson M And Arlene M (Grant) Cook.

Predeceased by her father Nelson M Cook Sr, and 2 Sisters, Priscilla Owen and Beatrice Sinclair-Callaway.

Dorothy (Dotty) was born physically challenged but was a strong and determined individual who enjoyed life to its fullest; thanks to the group at Residential Resources, Chesco and New Hope ant to all the caretakers at her home in Keene, NH.

Dotty loved to sing and dance with her group and enjoyed her cats. She looked forward to Joanne Miner picking her up every Sunday to attend church. Dotty’s lust for life was endless.

Survived by her Mother, Arlene (Grant) Cook, of Maynard, Mass, 1 Brother, Nelson M Cook Jr, of Windham, NH, 1 Sister, Marilyn M Cook, of Maynard, Mass, several Nieces & Nephews, and grand Nieces, and Nephews.

Services will be held Friday January 22, 2010 at 1 pm in the Swansea Congregational Church.

Burial will be in spring in North Branch Cemetery, Antrim, NH.
